Part-Time Material Handler

Job Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate equipment for moving packages, documents, heavyweight items, and dangerous goods.
• Assist in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavy freight.
• Act as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors when necessary.
• Complete additional assigned tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: No minimum education required.
• Experience: No prior experience needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. from ground to chest level and handling heavier packages with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods, bend, squat, and maneuver packages as necessary.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and climbing stairs or ladders when required.
• Effective communication skills in a noisy operational environment are essential.

Job Conditions:

• Drug screening is a requirement for this non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Must maintain a constant state of alertness and safety awareness.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary as operating motorized conveyances is part of this role.

This pay range reflects a reasonable estimate for starting salaries throughout various potential locations. Actual starting pay will be based on relevant experience, local market conditions, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
