Part-Time Material Handler

Join our team as a Part-Time Material Handler where you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient movement of packages and freight. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment safely for the movement of various packages, heavyweight freight, and dangerous goods.
• Assist in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Act as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor, as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• No minimum education or experience required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from the ground to chest level and maneuver packages exceeding 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Capability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions as required.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders when necessary.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in a noisy operational environment.

Job Conditions:

• This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position; a drug screen is required.
• Must maintain alertness and safety awareness at all times.
• A valid driver's license is required to operate motorized conveyances associated with this position.

Compensation: Starting pay is $17.89/hr with weekly pay and eligibility for additional pay, premiums, or bonuses based on performance and experience. Additionally, eligible employees receive health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement benefits, and tuition reimbursement.

Available Shifts: Valid driver's license required for the following shifts:

• Sun 6:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Mon 6:00 PM - 11:59 PM, Tues-Thur 6:30 PM - 11:59 PM (Off Fri and Sat)
• Sun 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Tues 4:30 AM - 10:30 AM, Wed 2:00 AM - 8:00 AM, Thurs/Fri 2:15 AM - 8:15 AM
