Part-Time Material Handler

Job Duties:

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently for moving packages, documents, heavyweight items, and potentially dangerous goods.
• Assist in building and breaking down pallets for heavyweight freight.
• Act as a contact point between the company and ULD repair vendors as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Education: No specific education required.

Minimum Experience: No prior experience needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance from ground to chest level.
• Capable of maneuvering packages weighing over 50 lbs. with proper equipment or help.
• Comfortable walking and standing during scheduled work hours.
• Able to bend, squat, and maneuver packages overhead as needed.
• Ability to operate in enclosed spaces and stack items above head.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions when required.
• Proficient in climbing stairs and ladders if the job demands it.
• Complete all necessary basic and recurring training successfully.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.

Job Conditions: This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position which requires a drug screening. Employees must maintain constant alertness and act safely. Possession of a valid driver's license is essential due to motorized vehicle operation.

Pay Transparency: The salary range is provided as a reasonable estimate. Actual starting pay will depend on experience, market rates, and other factors. Eligible employees may also receive additional pay and benefits.

Pay Range: $17.89

Working Schedule: Various AM shifts from Monday to Saturday (different days off) and PM shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM - 11:59 PM.
